Our home study visits are now complete. Today, Rebecca visited our home and did our final visits. She met with me individually. Charlie joined us a little later and we did the remaining "couple" visit. I left to go pick up Ian so she did Charlie's individual visit then. When Ian and I returned, we chatted for a few more minutes and then we were done. Talking to Rebecca was like talking to an old friend. She'll type up the home study, send us a copy to proof, submit it for approval and then send it to USCIS. After that, then we'll get the fingerprinting appointment.
We should receive the dossier packet from Katie after the home study is approved. Thing are moving right along. I'm ready to get this paperwork finished and then we'll settle in for the wait. Aaaaahhhhhh...the wait. I remember it well. Hopefully I'll tolerate this wait time a little better than I did Ian's.
