And So It Begins

This blog is designed to follow our adoption journey to our child in Vietnam. We are still very early in the process, but hopefully this will help our friends and family follow our journey.

The name of the blog will change. We do not know yet if our child is a boy or a girl (we're pretty sure it's a boy). After we have receive our referral, we'll probably change the name...so stay tuned.

We have felt for a while that we wanted another child. God so graciously opened the door and in faith we're walking through it. Many people have asked us "why Vietnam instead of India?". Our answer is simple...God closed the India door to us and opened the one to Vietnam. We know that's where Ian's sibling is waiting (or perhaps not even born yet).

Nadra,
Dwight and I have been checking your site frequently and keeping track of your happy family. I am so happy that Ian will have a sibling to love and boss around. We wouldn't trade our two girls for anything (but then again, no one seems interested in trading anything good.) Happy for you
Theresa, Dwight, Emma (14) Sara (8)
