Today we had our first Home Study visit. Having gone through this once before, I wasn't quite as nervous as the first time. But, still just a little anxious. Our social worker is FABULOUS!!! We are fortunate to have Rebecca Hackworth doing our home study this time. She's been with Dillon for many, many years and she is wonderful. We met her at our first adoption workshop in 2004. We loved her from the moment we met her. When we found out that she was going to be doing our home study, we were thrilled. She's so easy to talk to.
Our next visit will be in our home on May 2nd. She'll also do our individual interviews at the same time. So, one more long visit and we'll be done!!! Woo, hoo!!!

How fun! We had Micah's 2nd postplacement yesterday. Whew! All these visits!! Crazy stuff!

Congrats on the visit. I am so excited to hear they are moving so quickly for you. We are still waiting for medical visits with the 2nd applications. I hope the rest goes just has fast for you guys!
