Today we received the Dossier information from Katie. Woo, hoo!!! That's the next set of documents we need to gather. We'll submit the "certified" copies of those documents and then the folks at Dillon will send them to on to be authenticated by the Vietnam Embassy. I'm on vacation all week next week and it's my goal to have all of the documents to Dillon by next Tuesday.
The cool thing today was that 3 of the documents we have to sign are in Vietnamese. Wow...it's actually happening. I'm so excited!!!
By the way...if you haven't checked out the "In Vietnam" links on the left...be sure to do so. There are three families in Vietnam now picking up their precious babies. Congratulations to Erin & Jason, Jessica & Ken, and Leslie & Scott!!!!

Contrats on getting the Dossier info! Your motivation is inspiring...it certainly took us more than a month to get our dossier together. You Go Girl!

That's great news. We are pretty much at the same place.
It's great to be moving along in the process! The timing worked out great with you being off of work, too. We have been working with our case worker on our 2nd post placement. Man, the time flies once you get them!

I think I had the dossier done in 3 or 4 days *grin* YOu can definitely do it!
I totally said the same thing - WHOA these forms are in Vietnamese!!!! haha It's so the little things. I hope the dossier process is way smoother than ours!
So glad you guys are moving along so quickly! I'm sure your fingerprinting appointment letter will come any day. Our appointment date was only 2 1/2 to 3 weeks from the time we got our letter. It will be here before you know it!
